I have had the pleasure of viewing various blog spots and it seems like a delightful way to share the fun times, lazy moments, interests and travel with friends from all over the world. What a wonderful way to share with friends so I thought I'd give it a try. I started this process at about 8:30am this morning and it is now 10:30am! So much to choose from and so much to confuse you. I am sure it is the fact that I am drinking Decaf coffee that I had some pretty frustrating moments and lets not forget the fact that I have not eaten breakfast yet either! Surely a combination for disaster. Oh well, I persevered and got through it, along with one call to my sister to ask a "how to" question. We all need a little help sometimes......
Right now it is 60 degrees and extremely windy, 20mph, in Sunny California. This is the beginning of Autum for me. Forget the fact that it will be in the 80's tomorrow and throughout the week, today is the day. I have lots to do today but in no way do I want to venture outside as I am sure the wind will whip me up and throw me into the next city. But as I write this, I remember only a month ago I had very long straight hair past my waist and it was a nightmare to go out into the wind because all I had to show for it was a mass of tangled hair that whipped around my head. You wouldn't even know I had a face! Or I'd stuff it inside my sweater or coat just to pull it out full of STATIC. I am sure anyone with long hair can relate. But after 12 or so years of long hair I have short hair! Yes, I cut it off to just above the shoulders and totally love it. I discovered I have some natural curl you don't see with heavy long hair. I curl it a bit with a curling iron and I am off. So easy and the curl stays :). I can actually say that yesterday I took a walk at lunch -in the wind- no less and just let it fly every which way and then I just ran a brush though it. It was so liberating!!!!!!
Well my hunger is getting the best of me so I must leave now. I fully enjoyed my first attempt at blogging.

I have long hair too and I know about the wind. I often wear mine back and up to get around this problem, I hate the feeling of hair whipping around my face and sticking to lipgloss, ugh. You look great with your new hairdo! It looks fabbo. I didn't think I had room or time to discover and read a new blog, but I have to say, you've got me hooked.....
