Marie Antoinette Award

Grandma K from A Bit of the Blarney was so nice to give me the Marie Antoinette Award. I have not heard of this one but then I am still new to the blogging world. Grandma K did some research because she thought this was an "odd" award and found that this award is for people who are deemed "real" in who they are. I am honored to be chosen as a recipient! Thank you Grandma K. For those who have not been to A bit of the Blarney, please stop by for a visit and say hi.
I am to pass this on to 7 bloggers who exhibit this quality in their blog so here I go:
Each one of these lovely people exhibit the "real" quality. Please stop by #3 My Thoughts and say hi to my daughter Jackie who is now blogging...so exciting! lol

Golly, thank you, Melody. I am honored that you thought of me. Christmas holidays are upon us, and I am very, very late with my preparations. Need to bake today, do some shopping this week, oh. I never put up Christmas decorations until after out "slava" (Dec.19 post), but could have baked and shopped earlier. Gotta get more organized! Thanks again!

i will definitely go to your daughter's blog. how old is she???

hopefully, you're all done with your christmas shopping. i'm a cashier and today it should be crazy at the mall!!!! i have to be there at 6:45, but thankfully, the mad early morning rush of people wasn't there that early yesterday.

Congrats on your award! I like Marie Antoinette, despite all the bad press against her - I've read enough stuff on her to think she was pretty cool and a victim of her era. :)

Have a wonderful Christmas!!

We are going to Napa today to visit the In-Laws. Tomorrow I'll be Betty Crocker with my cookie marathon - my back aches already just thinking about it.
