A New Baby is Born!
Today at 7:30am we welcomed our new granddaughter Audrina Faith into the world. She was due this Saturday but she couldn't wait that long she wanted to join the family early. She weighed 6lb 13oz, 19 in long and has brown hair. Her mother Alicia was such a trooper. We made two trips to the hospital yesterday, 7am and 4pm dilated to 2cm before we came back at 10pm for good. Some of you may not know this but we have a pizza parlor in Antioch called Skipolinis Pizza. They have a "Prego" pizza and if you eat this pizza you may go into labor within 24 hours. It is very famous for this and even the nurses and doctors say to stop by there for dinner, lol. Well, we all went there yesterday at 6pm and she had 2-3 pieces and was admitted at 10pm and by 1am she was 5cm. This girl pushed this baby out in 20 minutes flat! and the rest is history.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL!!! What a sweetheart and what a head of hair already. That is so funny about the pizza place. I guess they had to hold up their part of the bargain. Lol!
Now, get a little sleep before you have to help out! :)

Yay!!! She is perfect!!! So happy for you! Isn't it great? My DD only pushed for 13 minutes with her first. We are afraid that she will go much faster with her second. Hope we are at the hospital lol. We only have about 3 weeks now. Melody I just can't explain the joy my grandson brings me. I know Audrina is going to do the same for you. Oh and such a beautiful name too. Congrats to you my dear friend!!
Ahh she is beautiful!! Congrats to mom and dad, and gramma and grandpa. How exciting for all of you. I think I would take a picture of her to the pizza parlor to have them put it on the wall, maybe they'll give some free pizza to mom and dad. lol.

Oh my goodness... she is breathtakingly beautiful. These are such tender and sweet photographs. Congratulations and may the Lord bless you all. The days ahead will bring many adjustments, but how wonderful to have this little gift of a granddaughter for all to center their affections on.
